PURPOSE: A water treatment device and a controlling method thereof are provided to prevent water from leaking from the device when a rotating caulk is rotating. CONSTITUTION: A water treatment device comprises on/off valves, a fixing member(210), a rotating member(220), a rotation sensor(245), extracting buttons(231,235), and a controller. The on/off valves are installed on multiple extracting lines. The fixing member is penetrated with the extracting lines. The rotating member is fixed to the fixing member, and includes plural extracting ports connected to each diffusing line. The rotation sensor senses the rotational location of the rotating member. The extracting buttons are installed to select the water extraction to the rotating member.
