PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat capable of preventing clothes of an occupant leaning on a seat back from being clamped in a gap when returning the seat back from a backward leaning attitude to a standing attitude and also returning a headrest from an elevated attitude to a lowered attitude in the state that the seat back is in the backward leaning attitude and further the headrest is in the elevated attitude so that a gap is formed between the seat back and the headrest.SOLUTION: The vehicle seat 12 is configured to form a gap 42 between the headrest 40 and the seat back 30 when the headrest 40 is elevated with respect to the seat back 30. Then, when the seat back 30 is returned from the backward leaning attitude to the standing attitude and also the headrest 40 is returned from the elevated attitude to the lowered attitude, the returning operation of the headrest 40 is started after the lapse of prescribed time after the returning operation of the seat back 30 is started. |
