摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance flaw detection precision while shortening a flaw detection time.SOLUTION: A phased array probe 3 has an ultrasonic wave generating element group 4 and the element group 4 is constituted of a plurality of elements P1-P100 performing the transmission/reception of ultrasonic waves with respect to an inspection target 1 having a flaw 2. An ultrasonic control means 6 performs the control of the ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving operation of those elements P1-P100 to send an ultrasonic wave receiving signal to an ultrasonic analyzing means 7. The flaw presence discrimination means 8 of the ultrasonic analyzing means 7 simply analyzes ultrasonic wave receiving data obtained by the first ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving operation to discriminate the presence and absence of the flaw 2. A flaw position specifying means 9 analyzes the ultrasonic wave receiving data obtained by the ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving operation on and after the next time in detail in the case that the flaw 2 is discriminated to be present to discriminate the presence and absence of the flaw 2.
