PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of preventing a phenomena of "overexposure" and "underexposure".SOLUTION: An image pickup means 1 picks up an image. An image processing means 2 processes the image picked up by the image pickup means 1. A display means 3 displays the image processed by the image processing means 2. The image processing means 2 carries out tone correction processing S12 including brightness value converting steps S21 and S23, weight calculating steps S22 and S24, and a weighting addition step S25. The image processing means 2 has a storage unit 2d which stores the processed image. The brightness value converting steps S21 and S23 carry out brightness value conversion by gamma correction functions F1, F2, ..., FN. |
