PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent heat recovery type heat exchanger having excellent corrosion resistance and high heat recovery efficiency and capable of reducing the size of a system and simplifying the system.SOLUTION: The latent heat recovery type heat exchanger 1 includes a plurality of metallic fins 2 arranged at predetermined pitches and a metallic pipe 4 inserted to holes 3 provided on the fins 2. The outer faces of the fins 2 and the pipe 4 are covered with a resin layer 5 comprising an electrodeposition material. Thus, heating target liquid supplied to inside of the pipe 4 is heated by latent heat recovered from combustion gas brought into contact with the outer faces of the fins 2 and the pipe 4, and the resin layer 5 applies corrosion resistance to the fins 2 and the pipe 4.
