PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the kinds of traveling cables by allowing a single traveling cable to have two types of free bend radii.SOLUTION: In the traveling cable 20 with one end suspended from a lower part of an elevator car 7 and the other end connected to a control panel 15, the core wire of the traveling cable 20 is covered with a sheath 25, and the cross section thereof is made up of a short side and a long side. The traveling cable is bent at a first free bend radius when pulled in one direction of the short side, and is bent at a second free bend radius when pulled by the same force in the other direction of the short side. |
