PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid jetting apparatus and an operating method thereof which can prevent the poor discharge of a white ink caused by the change of a printing period and an environmental temperature.SOLUTION: An inkjet printer includes a recording head 3 which has a plurality of nozzle trains L2 to L9 for jetting color inks and a nozzle train L1 for jetting the white ink or a clear ink, a fluid information acquisition part for acquiring the state of the white ink, and a selector 50 which changes either the white ink or the clear ink alternatively and feeds it to the recording head 3 based on information on the white ink acquired by the fluid information acquisition part.
