PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst component for addition polymerization enabling to produce an addition polymer having a higher molecular weight, a catalyst for addition polymerization and a method for producing the addition polymer.SOLUTION: The solid state catalyst component for addition polymerization is prepared by contacting a transition metal compound with a modified particle prepared by contacting (a) a compound expressed by formula [1]: ML, (b) a compound expressed by formula [2]: RTH, (c) a compound expressed by formula [3]: RTHwith (d) a particle, or further contacting an organoaluminum compound with them in an organic solvent, followed by removing the solvent. The catalyst for addition polymerization is obtained by contacting the catalyst component with the organoaluminum compound. The production method for the addition polymer using the catalyst, is also provided. |
