<p>PURPOSE: An information processing apparatus and a method for controlling the information processing apparatus are provided to form an LSI while compiling of a data processing program of a DSP does not end, thereby changing the data processing program of the DSP later. CONSTITUTION: If driving processing of a CPU(Central Processing Unit) ends, the CPU downloads a control program of the CPU and a data processing program of a DSP(Digital Signal Processor)(S104). If the driving processing of the DSP ends, the DSP enters an interrupt waiting state(S204). The DSP stops supply of a clock to the DSP by a clock control unit(S205). The CPU waits until data processing of the DSP ends after the CPU transmits an interrupt signal to the DSP(S105,S106). The DSP supplies a clock to the DSP again by the clock control unit(S207).</p> |
