FAULT DIAGNOSIS APPARATUS FOR PRESS PROCESS AND METHOD AT THE SAME

PURPOSE: A fault diagnosis apparatus and method for a press process are provided to implement quick handling of a failure occurring on a press processing line. CONSTITUTION: A fault diagnosis apparatus for a press process comprises a vibration sensor(120), a data collecting part(130), a frequency analysis part(140) and a fault classifier(150). The vibration sensor senses vibration signals from an electric motor. The data collecting part makes the vibration signals into digital data and stores the digital data. The frequency analysis part converts the vibration signal data stored in the data collecting part into a frequency range. The fault classifier classifies the type of an electric motor failure by employing the vibration signal data converted through the frequency analysis part as input pattern.
