PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission apparatus, a reception apparatus, a communication system, and a communication method, which provides feedback information efficiently by using a common reference signal and a reference signal specific to each user.SOLUTION: In the communication system that performs communication between the transmission apparatus and the reception apparatus, the transmission apparatus sends a common reference signal and a reference signal specific to the reception apparatus, and selects either a first mode wherein a reception quality is reported by using only the common reference signal, or a second mode wherein a reception quality is reported by using at least the reference signal specific to the reception apparatus, and notifies the reception apparatus of the selected mode. The reception apparatus acquires the mode selected by the transmission apparatus. When the acquired mode is the first mode, the reception apparatus reports a reception quality to the transmission apparatus by using only the common reference signal, and when the acquired mode is the second mode, the reception apparatus reports a reception quality to the transmission apparatus by using at least the reference signal specific to the reception apparatus. |
