PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor in which connections arranged between end regions of a housing component can be released only by breakdown.SOLUTION: The electric motor (1) includes a rotor (3) and a stator (5). The stator (5) is received into a motor housing (11) constituted of the two housing components. The respective housing components (12 and 13) cover the stator (5) by making them confront an axial direction. The other connection part disposed between the end regions of the housing components (12 and 13) can be released only by the destruction. Brackets (19) projected in a direction vertical to a face of a bearing bridge are formed in the confronted end regions, respectively. The brackets (19) are arranged to be overlapped each other in a direction parallel to an end face in an assembled state and the housing components (12 and 13) are connected in the region of the bracket (19). |
