PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of leakage steam toward the atmosphere side by enhancing steam sealing performance due to residual oxidized scale following performance after attachment and peeling of an oxidized scale on a surface of a valve stem.SOLUTION: The steam valve device includes a steam valve body having a steam entrance and a steam exit, an upper cover 202 for closing an opening of an upper surface of the steam valve body, a valve stem 205 passing through a steam chest within the steam valve body from the atmosphere side of the upper cover for controlling the flow volume of steam delivered from the steam exit by a valve on an end portion, and a bush 201 provided to give an appropriate clearance on a through hole of the upper cover 202 through which the valve stem 205 passes so that the valve stem 205 axially reciprocates. A circular plate-shaped seal member 300 having a narrower clearance than a clearance between the valve stem 205 and the bush 201 or provided to contact the outer surface of the valve stem 205 passing through the stem chest side of the upper cover 202 is arranged around the valve stem 205 passing through the steam chest side of the upper cover 202. |
