<p>A PM sensor is provided which is simple in structure but capable of precisely detecting an amount of PM accumulated in a DPF. In a diesel particulate filter (DPF) (3) having multi-aperture filter body (2) partitioned by many division walls, two electrodes (4a, 4b) form a capacitor with one or more division walls therebetween, and the two electrodes (4a, 4b) are concentrically arranged, and the amount of PM collected in the DPF (3) is detected from the electrostatic capacity of the capacitor.</p> |
