PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To settle the problem that, conventionally, there is no effective controlling method for Galleria mellonella of an insect pest for honeybee but insect damage of beehive and degradation of honey quality.SOLUTION: By utilizing heat and smell generated by honeybee, Galleria mellonella attracted thereby is attracted in the apparatus to be caught with a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet applied in the apparatus. Thereby, invasion and oviposition of the Galleria mellonella to a beehive are decreased and harm thereby is reduced. |
