PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air circulator capable of circulating, together with air blown at a level inherent in a relevant blower, ions stably and continuously generated while preventing insects from being intruded without declining in the blow level.SOLUTION: The air circulator works as follows: an illuminator 20 emits rays including those of the wavelength corresponding to yellow color having the effect of repelling insects to illuminate the surroundings of a suction port 13 to induce repelling reaction on insects coming flying around the suction port 13 to make the insects act so as to go away from the suction port 13; further, an aluminum rotor blade 12 with planished surface reflects part of the rays emitted from the illuminator 20 outside of the suction port 13, i.e. downward and obliquely downward of the suction port 13, and the reflective direction is varied periodically synchronously with the rotating period of the rotor blade 12 to expose insects having come flying around the suction port 13 to periodically flickering rays of light. |
