The cover (10) has a filling hole (12) formed in a filler neck (14) of a filler mechanism (16) for operating liquid of a motor vehicle. A lighting unit is arranged in an engine compartment of the motor vehicle by a retaining mechanism (11). The filler neck exhibits a reduction part, and is integrally formed with the cover. The filling hole is closed by a cover plate that is integrally formed with the cover and arranged in a closing position (S) in a corresponding receiver (32) of the cover. The cover is formed from plastic by injection molding.
