Exchangeable energy source for a vehicle

The source has supplying and disposal connections (4) for connecting an energy block with a supplying device (12) that works with an energy storage i.e. battery (1) such that the energy storage is automatically removable and installable in a motor vehicle by a controller (11). The energy block is automatically locked at the motor vehicle, and/or the connections are automatically coupled or decoupled between the energy block and the vehicle. The controller covers a memory that covers an execution sequence of automation, and a processor. An independent claim is also included for a method for replacing an energy storage in a motor vehicle.
