The electronic commutating electric motor (1) has a network rectifier (2) for rectifying a network changeover voltage (U-N) to an intermediate circuit-direct current voltage (U-Z), and has a commutating electronics (4) for controlling three-standed motor coil. An integrated buck converter (10) is provided for reducing the intermediate circuit-direct current voltage that is supplied over the network rectifier.
