The element has an inner insulation glazing (12) and an outer single-pane glazing (13) between which an air gap (9) are provided. An opening of the air gap is provided for air exchange with ambient air. Air conditioning units are provided upstream to an inflow opening (18) of the air gap. An air tube (16) of the air conditioning units is actively cooled by a cooling element (24), and is cooled and humidified by inflow air, where flowing speed and a direction of the air are regulated by temperature changes in the air gap. The cooling element is controlled by a temperature controller. The air tube is formed as a condensation tube that is designed as a diagnosis tube, exchange tube and flat tube.
