The propulsion system of a skyline carriage uses a mechanic flywheel (2) to accumulate excess energy. In the “charging” phase, it is propelled by the winch (1) through the mechatronic variator (3) and in the phase of “recuperation” it propels the winch (1) through the reversing gearbox and the variator.
