PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for adding and removing a relay link in a communication system are provided to enable a terminal to add or delete a relay link through a Doppler estimate value, Ec/lo, and CQI information. CONSTITUTION: When a Doppler estimate value is smaller than a reference value, a terminal compares a measured Ec/lo of a RS(Relay Station) with a measured Ec/lo of a base station to which a margin value is added(201,203). When a modulation type is QPSK(Quadrature Phase Shift Keying), the terminal transmits an RRC(Radio Resource Control) connection request message for an additional request of a relay link to the base station and the relay station(205,207). The terminal activates a relay mode(211). |
