COOLING METHOD FOR INVERTED ANGLE

PURPOSE: A method for cooling an inverted angle is provided to prevent the bending of both ends of an inverted angle by differently applying cooling water to the edges and the center part of the inverted angle. CONSTITUTION: When an inverted angle(10) which is rolled to have a short side and a long side different in length and thickness passes through cooling equipment(C), the position of the inverted angle in the cooling equipment is sensed and the detected position is outputted as an electric signal. It is determined whether at least a part of both ends of the inverted angle is overlapped with a predetermined control section of the cooling equipment based on the positions of both ends of the inverted angle within the cooling equipment, recognized from the electric signal. If at least a part of both ends of the inverted angle is overlapped with the predetermined control section of the cooling equipment, a control signal for controlling the operation of the cooling equipment is outputted in order to differently supply cooling water to the inverted angle within the predetermined control section.
