<p>The present invention relates to the use of modulators of the sclerostin: sclerostin- binding-partner interaction for the treatment, amelioration, and diagnosis of sclerostin-related disorders, e.g., osteoporosis and sclerosteosis, and sclerostin-related disorders, e.g., cancers and cardiovascular disorders. The invention also relates to the use of sclerostin-binding-partner mimetics for the treatment, amelioration, and diagnosis of sclerostin-related disorders. Assays for the identification of modulators of the sclerostin: sclerostin-binding-partner interaction, as well as the resulting signaling, are also provided.</p> |
