BRAKE APPARATUS FOR BICYCLE

PURPOSE: A brake device for a bicycle is provided to prevent the slip of a bicycle caused by the locking of the rear wheel when braking the rear wheel. CONSTITUTION: A brake device for a bicycle comprises a vibrating oil pressure generator(10), a caliper(20), and a rear wheel brake pad(25). The vibration hydraulic generator comprises a cylinder(12), a piston(13), a drive roller(14), and a motion transformation unit(16). The cylinder is fixed to the front part of a bicycle and filled with fluid. The piston pumps the fluid in the cylinder by reciprocating within the cylinder. The drive roller rotates with one end contacting the front wheel rotor(1) of the front wheel of the bicycle. The motion transformation unit changes the rotational motion of the drive roller into the linear motion of the piston. The caliper is fixed to the rear part of the bicycle and connected to a first hydraulic line(31) connected to the rear wheel brake lever of the bicycle and a second hydraulic line(32) connected to the cylinder of the vibrating oil pressure generator, thereby being provided with fluid. The rear wheel brake pad is installed to reciprocate in the caliper and, according to the operation of the rear wheel brake lever, moves with the pressure of fluid transmitted through the first hydraulic line to brake the rear wheel rotor(2) of the rear wheel or vibrated with the pressure of fluid transmitted through the second hydraulic line.
