PURPOSE: Environment friendly waterproof/greaseproof agents which are an alternative of polyethylene, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to assign waterproof/greaseproof functions on a paper board using natural pulps. CONSTITUTION: Initial solution is put into a 4 liter reactor. The initial solution is stirred. The temperature of the reactor increases. Monomer tank mixing solution and initiator tank mixing solution are put into the reactor at once. The temperature is maintained so that the temperature of the reactor is not hotter than 100 degrees. Reaction is made for 120 minutes. Seed latex is obtained by the reaction.
