PURPOSE: A light-emitting diode apparatus is provided to offer an LED apparatus capable of obtaining a light source which has high lumen density with small, simple optical design. CONSTITUTION: A base(2) comprises a top, a bottom, and a sides between the top and the bottom. An insulative substrate comprises a through hole passing through the top and the bottom. A bottom of a substrate is attached on the top of the base. A frame(14) is arranged to surround the periphery of the base mounting area to form a light emitting area.
