PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for processing a virtual world are provided to apply data obtained from a sensor of the real world to the virtual world, thereby controlling information about an object of the virtual world. CONSTITUTION: A controller(2410) controls a virtual world object of a virtual world. The virtual world object is classified into an avatar and a virtual object. The virtual object comprises extension of a base type of the virtual world object and elements of appearance and animation. A processing unit(2420) migrates the virtual object from the virtual world to another virtual world.
