PURPOSE: A bus system and a control method thereof are provided to enable system components to logically share one physical bus, thereby transmitting data. CONSTITUTION: A ring bus(110) operates as a data transmission medium. A plurality of system components(131~136) transmits and receives data using the ring bus. An arbiter(140) arbitrates the use of the bus of the system components. The arbiter controls a clock frequency of the ring bus by a use request of the ring bus transmitted from at least one of the system components.
