PURPOSE: An electronic doorlock and a control method thereof are provided to prevent the exposure of a password. CONSTITUTION: A key input part displays a random number on a location corresponding to a serial number through a display window. A secret number storage part(210) stores the password and the random number generated from a processor. A process part(200) generates the random number corresponding to the serial number and displays it on a screen. The generated random number is stored in a password storage part. A random number is sequentially inputted from a user through a keypad. A control signal is generated from a locking part(220) after determining the position and order of the saved password digit.
