<p>A method and an apparatus for a User Equipment (UE) accessing in an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) are provided by the present invention. The method includes that a UE access apparatus (308) is arranged at the UE (301) side; when the UE (301) initiates a session with an opposite network element via the IMS core network (309), the IMS core network (309) instructs said UE access apparatus (308) to preserve media level forwarding resource, and said UE access apparatus (308) allocates media level forwarding resource for said UE (301); and during the session process between said UE (301) and the opposite network element, said UE access apparatus (308) forwards the media level information between said UE (301) and the opposite network element according to said media level forwarding resource. The apparatus provided by the present invention can be arranged flexibly. Otherwise, because the apparatus has registration and cancellation function, there is no need to configure the other equipments in the core network whenever the apparatus is added or reduced, and therefore frequent adjustment is allowed, and thus energy saving and cost reduction can be achieved.</p> |
