A sub-processor, integrated circuit device, and electronic apparatus capable of efficiently processing data are provided. A sub-processor (100) is connected to a host processor (210) through a bus controller (220) and comprises a command-fetching unit (120) for fetching commands of a sub-processor program (250), a register unit (130), a command decoder (140) for decoding the commands, and an arithmetic unit (160) for executing the commands. The host processor (210) sets, through the bus controller (220), a program counter value indicating a storage location for the sub-processor program (250), and a start processing command for the sub-processor (100), at the register unit (130). The command-fetching unit (120) fetches the command indicated by the program counter value. The command decoder (140) decodes the command. The arithmetic unit (160) executes the command. |
