<p>A method, device and system for detecting link failure are provided by the present invention. The method includes: a Passive Optical Network (PON) terminal device receives broadcast messages sent by an Optical Line Termination (OLT), wherein the broadcast messages carry connection information including an identifier of the station where the OLT is located, an identifier of the frame or slot where the OLT is located and an identifier of the OLT's port connected to the PON terminal device. The connection information in the broadcast messages is obtained and it is judged whether the obtained connection information is consistent with the preset connection information. If not consistent, it is judged whether the PON terminal device is put into operation for the first time. If not, it is determined that the link failure occurs. The provided method is simple and easy to operate, and can detect link failure quickly.</p> |
