<p>A method for maintaining the work state of network elements is provided. The method comprises: the network management system performs a statistics on the work state of all the network elements before they are upgraded; after their upgrades are completed, the network management system sends a work state restoration instruction to all the network elements according to the statistics in order to indicate them to restore the work state to that before they are upgraded. Correspondingly a system for maintaining the work state of network elements is provided. The method and system can intellectually maintain the work state of network elements as the same either before or after they are upgraded, reduce the workload of the manual maintenance and improve the work efficiency as well as the stability of the system work.</p> |
