Provided is a truck cab collision test device in relation to which a bench test technique is established whereby only a cab is tested, with no actual vehicle used. A collision test device pertaining to claim 1 is characterized by comprising a jig frame on which a cab is mounted, a dolly on which the aforementioned jig frame is mounted, a protruding barrier located forward of the aforementioned cab, and a collision means whereby the aforementioned dolly is moved, thereby causing the aforementioned cab to collide against the aforementioned protruding barrier. A collision test device pertaining to claim 2 is characterized in that a collision test device as set forth in claim 1 comprises a shock absorbing means which is installed forward of the aforementioned dolly and on the aforementioned protruding barrier, thereby realizing the following: When the aforementioned collision means operates, this shock absorbing means is deformed by an amount equal to the deformation quantity of a vehicle frame whereon the aforementioned cab is to be mounted, and then the cab is caused to collide against the aforementioned protruding barrier. |
