<p>A method and a system of access to a base station controller from a base station are disclosed in the present invention, wherein said method includes the following steps: when a first base station controller which the base station has accessed fails, said base station sends an access request to a second base station controller based on a predetermined rule; according to said access request, said second base station controller allocates a temporary cell global identifier (CGI) in a preset CGI to said base station. Said preset CGI includes the home CGI corresponding to the home base station controlled by said second base station controller and the temporary CGI for temporarily accessing the base station. The present invention guarantees the reliability of Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) network without increasing the cost.</p> |
