A method and a device for clipping control are provided, wherein the method includes: updating a clipping factor based on the maximum absolute value FrameLev in a current frame signal, obtaining a clipping restoration filter according to the clipping factor, filtering the current frame signal according to the clipping restoration filter, and obtaining the filtered clipping restoration signal. The method and device for clipping control can automatically detect whether clipping phenomenon occurred, and perform clipping restoration, thereby improve the subjective quality of output signals. |
