RESOURCE AND ADMISSION CONTROL METHOD

A resource and admission control method is provided, and the procedure of the resource request includes: after receiving the resource initialization request for requesting QoS resource for services sent by the Service Control Functions (SCF), the Policy Decision Functional Entity (PD-FE) of visited network enforces the authentication check and the resource availability check for the resource initialization request, and sends the resource initialization request to the PD-FE of home network; the PD-FE of home network enforces the authentication check and makes the preliminary policy decision to the resource  initialization request, incorporates the generated preliminary policy decision into the resource initialization response and transmits it to the PD-FE of visited network; the PD-FE of visited network makes the final admission decision to the resource initialization request according to the result of the resource availability check and the preliminary policy decision. The implementation of the present invention clarifies the respective function attributes of the home network Resource and Admission Control Functions (RACF) and the visited network RACF, as well as the interaction procedure between them, and solves the resource and admission control problem of the interaction between domains and of nomadicity support.
