The method involves dry-mixing silica fume with aluminous cement and sand in a mixer conforming to NF EN 196-1standard. An aqueous solution, which contains water-soluble dispersing agent with carboxylic functions and polyether chains, is added to water. The mixture of silica fume, aluminous cement and sand is mixed with the water and aqueous solution mixture to obtain a sealing mortar (5). A metallic cover (4) and a metallic rod (6) are sealed on a glass or porcelain skirt (2) of a high-voltage insulator (1) by the sealing mortar. |
