<p>PURPOSE: An optic finger navigation apparatus, a manufacturing method and a portable electronic system having the optic finger navigation apparatus equipped with an optic guide film are provided to reduce the thickness of the optic finger navigation apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An LGF(Light Guide Film)(102) includes a finger interface surface. A light source(104) offers the light to the finger interface surface. A sensor(106) detects the light from the LGF in response to the contact between the finger interface surface and the finger. A navigation engine generates the lateral movement information showing the lateral movement of the finger about the sensor.</p> |
