PURPOSE: A contents encryption method, a contents decryption method, and an electronic device applying the same are provided to complexly apply a plurality of encryption methods about one contents, thereby reinforcing the encrypting means about the contents. CONSTITUTION: A one contents complexly applies a plurality of encryption methods to complex-encrypted(S330). The encryption information is added to the complex-encrypted contents(S340). The encrypted methods are complexly applied as at least one unit among the complex-encrypted frame, field, and line. The encryption methods includes a HDCP(High bandwidth Digital Content Protection)-XOR encryption scheme and a HDCP-XNOR encryption scheme.
