PURPOSE: A top support structure and method of a floating marine structure are provided to effectively prevent the sagging of an upper wall and the deformation or breakage of an insulator for a storage tank. CONSTITUTION: A top support structure of a floating marine structure comprises one or more decks(32) in which facilities are installed as separate modules, a reinforcing member which is installed under an upper wall(14) of a hull(10) and supports the load, and a plurality of stools(30) which are installed between the decks and the upper wall and supports the decks in order to transmit the upper load to the upper wall. The reinforcing member is installed on chambers(22,24) formed at an angle on the top of a storage tank(20) inside the hull.
