PURPOSE: An actuator is provided to enable a user to easily check the opening degree of a valve because the operating state of the actuator which drives the valve can be confirmed from outside. CONSTITUTION: An actuator includes a display device(200) which is composed of a scale ring(210) which is marked with scales and installed in the edge of a rotary shaft(120) and a display cap(220) which is placed on the top of the scale ring and rotates along with the rotary shaft so as to display the rotating degree of the rotary shaft. The scale ring has fixing legs which are inserted and fixed in fixing holes formed in a main body(100).
