PURPOSE: A timing controller and an apparatus for controlling transmission of a data signal using the same are provided to simultaneously display entire screen in a correct bist-pattern by allowing each timing controller to share operation modes generated from the differential signals. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of timing controllers controls the display operation of a display part. The timing controllers respectively receive differential signal displaying images. The timing controllers include a master timing controller(3001) and a plurality of slave timing controllers(3002 to 300n). The master timing controller transmits an abnormal sharing signal and corresponds to an abnormal mode. The slave timing controllers receive the abnormal sharing signal and correspond to the abnormal mode.
