PURPOSE: A personal position controlling system, and a position tracking system and method using the same are provided to confirm the position of a global positioning system terminal through a public map application in a personal computer. CONSTITUTION: A server application(210) receives global positioning system information from a global positioning system terminal(100). The received global positioning system information is processed according to a public map application(220). In the public map application, the position of the global positioning system terminal according to the processed global positioning system information transmitted from the server application.
