<p>Apparatus and method for verifying the authenticity of signal and controling and operating transporting and comparing and processing alphanumeric code information to a signal and controlling an operation with the information, having means (20) adapted to receive and store reference alphanumeric code information from a source (13) and means (16) for converting, for controlling an operation, an input to alphanumeric code information and transporting the input information to the means (20) containing the stored information and means (25) for calculating on the basis of the relationship between the stored and input information the accuracy of the input information and utilizing the calculations to determine a response to the input information. At least two responses are provided by the determination resulting from the calculations. One response signals a recording means. The other response verifies the accuracy of the input and is utilized in providing a signal for the actuation of an operation. The actuating signal is made up of a plurality of verifying responses. The authenticity of the actuating signal is affirmed by the combination of the verifying responses. The operation is activated through an isolation device that makes the validating transparent to the operation.</p> |
