PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission having a bearing fixing structure, shortening the whole length of the transmission. SOLUTION: This transmission has: a rotary shaft 1; a bearing 2 including a bearing inner peripheral part 21 positioned on the outer peripheral side of one end of the rotary shaft 1 and an outer peripheral part 22 having a body fitting groove 221 formed in the outer peripheral surface in the circumferential direction and provided on the outer peripheral side of the bearing inner peripheral part 21 to relatively turn and to be regulated in the axial movement thereof; a snap ring 3 including a nearly C-shaped body part 31 possible to be fitted in the body part insertion-fitting groove 221 by inserting, and one or more lock claws 32 projecting outward in the radial direction from the body part 31 in one part of the body part 31 in the circumferential direction; and a case 4 provided with an insertion part 42, which is scraped in one part thereof in the circumferential direction so that the lock claw 31 moves in the axial direction, and a lock claw insertion-fitting groove 43, into which the lock claw 31 is fitted by inserting in the circumferential direction from the insertion part 42 by circumferential rotation of the snap ring 3 in the opposite position of the body insertion-fitting groove 221, in the inner peripheral surface thereof to hold the bearing 2, and preventing radial movement thereof.
