PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake flow adjusting device achieving low fuel consumption and having a simple construction. SOLUTION: By rotatively driving a drive shaft 20 and turning an adjusting plate 30, an extension plate 40 is moved in parallel following to the adjusting plate 30 by a connection part 50. The extension plate 40 is almost parallel to a pipe axis and the area of a downstream side opening 82 is determined by the turning of the adjusting plate 30 to be equal to the area of an upstream side opening 81. An end 42 of the extension plate 40 is extended to a downstream side and the downstream side opening 82 is arranged at a position near the combustion chamber of each cylinder.
