PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a pattern can not be formed in a wide area of a back sheet because of the presence of a marker for accurately cutting a continuous body of the back sheet constituting a part of an absorbent article. SOLUTION: The absorbent article 10 includes a top sheet, an absorber, the back sheet 17 on which the marker 21 and the pattern A are printed, and a cover sheet 11. The pattern A can be visually recognized through the cover sheet 11. The position of the marker 21 along the lateral direction of the back sheet 17 is located within an area where the pattern A is formed in the lateral direction of the back sheet 17. The marker 21 has a specific hue, and the pattern A located at a position in the lateral direction in the back sheet 17 corresponding to the position of the marker 21 along the lateral direction of the back sheet 17 has a different hue than the hue of the marker 21.
