<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for reproducing information with which a direction to reproduce a content from an arbitrary hierarchical structure is given, by independently displaying types of contents and kinds of media included by respective layers grouped in accordance with the types of contents and the kinds of media, and displaying a display of the layer selected for reproduce on the front side in comparison with displays of the remaining layers and emphasizing it. <P>SOLUTION: In the device for reproducing information, visibility of files is enhanced and selection of files is easily conducted by extracting kinds of media can reproducing and kinds of contents capable thereof, displaying the kinds of extracted media on a first display area and the kinds of extracted contents on a second display area, and displaying a display area which has accepted a direction of selection of the first and second display areas with highlighting against non-selection display areas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
